Working with Schools and further education

We believe Screen Memories can be beneficial across the generations.  We work with Primary and High school pupils in various ways to encourage them to engage with the older generation.  So far all pupils and teachers who have attended a joint session have found them to be entertaining and beneficial for all concerned.  The school students were able to learn at first- hand about cinema-going trends and early television experiences, as well as aspects of the social, cultural and economic life of the times when the older people were themselves school students or young adults. Both school pupils and older generations have benefitted from the exchange of views and social experiences.
